STREAM/Moldova Community Engagement: Progresses and Challenges
On Monday, July 9th, CAB’s STREAM Members met in Renașterea Social Center, Chișinău to greet Ezio Tavora dos Santos Filho, Comminity Engagement Coordinator REDE-TB within EECA STREAM CABs, Nicolaz Mirzashvili and Davith Alxazashvili from STREAM CAB Georgia.
Elena Tudor, the Principal Investigator of the STREAM Moldova site, on behalf of IFP „Chiril Draganiuc” has presented the clinical trial and the first year results and Pavel Rucsineanu, STREAM CAB Moldova spoke about the need of community engagement and STREAM Moldova progresses and challenges.
Nicolaz Mirzashvili and Davith Alxazashvili from STREAM CAB Georgia and Georgia TB Patients Union brought to the audience a Georgian perspective of STREAM CAB involvement.
Svetlana Doltu, STREAM Community Engagement Officer and Oxana Rucșineanu, STREAM CAB Member (SMIT) disscused about Community-led Development of TB Response within TB and Ethics.
Ezio Tavora concluded the meeting moderating a brainstorming session on next year’s plans for STREAM CAB Moldova.
